Let’s dance! And ride. Like it’s 1999. Get on your bike and take part in the ultimate tribute to two of music’s great icons.
We’ll pedal our way through Darebin’s latest back street ‘shimmy’ bike route celebrating the musical legacy of Prince and Bowie. We’ll then converge on Darebin Music Feast’s own dedicated tribute that night: Prince! Bowie! Dance Party! Party! at Preston Fresh Hood.
Pedal, sing and boogie your way between Northcote and Reservoir. Don’t forget your glitter and your best purple threads.
SHIMMY ON! will kick off from 3.30pm at Mayer Park near corner Moreland Road and Leinster Grove and finish up around 6pm at Preston Fresh Hood.
Tickets for SHIMMY ON are $10 - Book your spot here!
All participants must be over 12 years old and any under 16 MUST be accompanied by a guardian who is also enrolled on the ride. Participants must bring their own road-worthy bicycle and helmet.

Let’s dance! And ride. Like it’s 1999. Get on your bike and take part in the ultimate tribute to two of music’s great icons.<\/p>
We’ll pedal our way through Darebin’s latest back street ‘shimmy’ bike route celebrating the musical legacy of Prince and Bowie. We’ll then converge on Darebin Music Feast<\/a>’s own dedicated tribute that night: Prince! Bowie! Dance Party! Party! <\/a>at Preston Fresh Hood.<\/p>
Pedal, sing and boogie your way between Northcote and Reservoir. Don’t forget your glitter and your best purple threads.<\/p>
SHIMMY ON! will kick off from 3.30pm at Mayer Park near corner Moreland Road and Leinster Grove and finish up around 6pm at Preston Fresh Hood.<\/p>

All participants must be over 12 years old and any under 16 MUST be accompanied by a guardian who is also enrolled on the ride. Participants must bring their own road-worthy bicycle and helmet.
