Tally-ho! Don your finest tweed, dust off your flat caps, and jump on board your two-wheeled steed. It's time for the Tweed Ride. Started in London, and now held all over the world - from London to Chicago to Sydney -- it's an afternoon celebrating the leisurely pace of a time gone by.

The Squeaky Wheel hosted the first Melbourne Tweed Ride in 2009 as part of the Bicycle Film Festival. It was held again in 2010 as part of Bikefest, and in 2011 and 2012 was attended by more stylish folks than ever.

Our friends at the Vintage Bicycle Club of Victoria, Frocks on Bikes Melbourne, and of course, the Melbourne Tweed Ride Facebook group, all collaborate on staging the event to ensure that Melbourne's Tweed Ride is the most stylish in the Southern Hemisphere.
