The time is here guys! Victoria's first trial of bike transport on buses has arrived. You can now travel east-west across Melbourne's north on two different bus routes, joining Essendon with Ivanhoe and Strathmore with East Coburg. The racks will be attached to 15 buses across the trial (so possibly not every bus on the route) and each bus can carry 2 bicycles. Public Transport Victoria (PTV) are hoping the trial will provide information about the demographics of the service user, and to gauge whether there is further demand. So be sure to give it a go!

The time is here guys! Victoria's first trial of bike transport on buses<\/a> has arrived. You can now travel east-west across Melbourne's north on two different bus routes, joining Essendon with Ivanhoe and Strathmore with East Coburg. There are also routes in Phillip Island and Bendigo. Check out the maps of the Melbourne routes below.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/div><\/div>

The racks will be attached to 15 buses across the trial (so possibly not every bus on the route) and each bus can carry 2 bicycles. Public Transport Victoria (PTV) are hoping the trial will provide information about the demographics of the service user, and to gauge whether there is further demand. So be sure to give it a go!<\/p>
