The Pushy Women will be setting off from our favourite Capital City Trail cafe – Green Park Dining for a ride to namesake event – the Pushy Women Speaking Event ! This year the line up features Julia Morris, Clare Bowditch, Fiona O’Loughlin, Rachel Berger, Alicia Sometimes, Fiona Patten and of course our patron and host, Catherine Deveny.
We’ll mill about enjoying a coffee thanks to our charming hosts , and then set off on a scenic route into Trades Hall for a stand up show all about women on bikes.
We’ll be riding at a VERY relaxed pace. So relaxed we may stop moving at times to gawk at shop windows or wonder at the first autumn leaves sprouting in leafy Carlton North. This ride is suitable for beginner riders, but you must be confident riding in light traffic.
If you want to see the show with us, make sure you have booked your tickets early, the show will SELL OUT. After the show, we’ll pop across the road for a refreshing beverage at the John Curtin Hotel. Lovely.
